Tatami, traditional Japanese floor mats, are made of compressed rice straw, with a covering of woven soft rush straw. They provide excellent thermal insulation and have a positive effect on the indoor climate. We offer tatami in two qualities.
Standard quality (height approx. 5 cm) is a good choice, if used for reclining only. High quality tatami (height approx. 6 cm) are more stable, thus long-lasting as walkable area as well.
Consistent with futon and tatami, we offer a variety of cushions and mats, like zafu, yoga mats and bolsters.
